The NRECA HR conference was a wonderful time to network and reconnect with friends from all over the country.  The cooperative sector has this wonderful attribute of starting with a handshake and growing into a friendship.  What a privilege it was to meet and introduce Paul Falcone (keynote speaker) at the final general session.  He was a return from last year’s conference and one can see why.  His presentation on performance appraisal was extremely insightful (and confirming of some approaches that I have used), energizing and empowering.  I love it when that happens.  If you can’t get the presentation, let me know and I will forward it.
